What do you think?

If a no, can you suggest something of that sort of feel?

I don't usually like names beginning with 'C', although Cecily is also nice but too girly and merry for me to use, I think.

I think it's too Parker Bowles.

hazandduck · 04/04/2019 10:46

Ooh I love it. Also love Milla as a nickname.

Hoppinggreen · 04/04/2019 10:44

I like it, no Royal or Horsey connotations for me though as the 2 I know are Brazilian and Portuguese.
I loved Camille as well

Bumblebeesmum · 04/04/2019 10:37

I love Camille - Camilla is ok

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 03/04/2019 18:44

I like it

babyinabowohno · 27/03/2019 11:28

All the Camilla's I've ever known are very true to their 'cold' name but have elegance and class

ColeHawlins · 27/03/2019 11:08

so I can't see how it will do for a younger generation.

Well there will be a Queen Camilla for a chunk of the next generation's youth, which will be hard to miss.

But I like it. It's a lovely name.

2rachtint · 27/03/2019 11:06

I don't like it but think it's as I've only known one in real life and she's not a nice person - objectively it's an ok name - I like Milly as a nickname.

ThanksItHasPockets · 27/03/2019 10:10

I love it.

Trinnidad · 26/03/2019 22:46

My mum taught at a private school and Camilla was very popular. Other names there that might be an alternative: Alyssa,
Arabella,
Rosanna,
Francesca,
Araminta,
Georgina,
Emilia.

Orchidflower1 · 26/03/2019 21:39

Camille is much nicer.

HeartShapedLocket · 26/03/2019 21:38

Constance?

SilviaSalmon · 26/03/2019 21:37

Love it

GlitterPixie · 26/03/2019 21:37

I really like Camilla and Camille

HeartShapedLocket · 26/03/2019 21:36

I love it, it's pretty.

Alternatives, Clara? Cecille? Carolyn? Cara?

Lobsterquadrille2 · 26/03/2019 21:26

Really like it. I've only ever known two and am surprised it's not more popular.

Tiramisu1 · 26/03/2019 21:06

I like it.

TroysMammy · 26/03/2019 20:56

I like it. Don't associate it with The Royal family as she's usually referred to the Duchess of Cornwall.

candlefloozy · 26/03/2019 20:52

I know a baby camilla

aliceandkids77 · 26/03/2019 20:48

A bit dating imo, maybe Mila tho? Also thought of Cecilia? x

DramaAlpaca · 26/03/2019 20:22

I like it but prefer Cecily.

Normandy144 · 26/03/2019 11:27

It's nice or you could go with th3 French style Camille.

MrsDevlin · 26/03/2019 11:26

Yes! Lovely name.

backmassageplease · 26/03/2019 11:21

I get the Royal connection but that doesn't really come to mind for me, so I can't see how it will do for a younger generation.
