I've narrowed it down to these three and love them all. Which do you like best?

definitely Juno, it's gorgeous x :)

Bumblebeesmum · 25/03/2019 17:48

Elke was originally a diminutive for Adelaide which I much prefer
Romilly prob my favourite of your list

Aozora13 · 25/03/2019 17:31

Love them all! DD was almost Romilly (DH vetoed Juno because of the film) but we went for Saskia in the end

NightmareLoon · 25/03/2019 17:29

One of my best friends growing up was an Elke so I love the name.

aliceandkids77 · 25/03/2019 17:17

not Elke, it reminds me of the animal! I think Romilly and Juno are both very pretty though, you may want to wait and see what she looks like and suits? x

stitchwitch84 · 25/03/2019 14:08

Going against the crowd: Elke is the best of the three! It's a gorgeous name and I'd definitely shortlist it if I were even slightly Germanic.

Juno makes me think of Junoesque…

KathyS901 · 25/03/2019 13:54

Finally! Someone else has said that Romilly reminds them of Rommel! This is ALL I can think of when I see the name Romilly. Elke makes me think of Elks. So Juno it is!

Tamsyn143 · 25/03/2019 13:44

My daughter is called Romilly and we get loads of compliments x

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 25/03/2019 12:26

Not Juno if there's a German connection and you'll get the Y pronunciation or, worse, people trying to say it in what they imagine is the English way and making 'Chuno' out of it. (All J names were out for us for this reason). Otherwise, it's my favourite. I find Romilly faddy and it doesn't travel at all. Elke is hipster in the UK and 'late middle-aged lady with dyed red hair and a rucksack with little mirrors on' in Germany.

SadieContrary · 25/03/2019 12:21

If that was my list then Romilly every time

RoseMartha · 25/03/2019 12:20

None if them, but each to their own . if you like them use them.

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 25/03/2019 12:02

Romilly

I don't know why but Elke is making me think of 1970s soft focus soft porn.

alonerinlona · 25/03/2019 12:00

In German do you pronounce J like a Y, so 'Yuno'?

Ribbonsonabox · 25/03/2019 11:58

Juno!

Marylou2 · 25/03/2019 11:56

Love them all. What a great selection. Juno is my favourite of the three.

Netflixaddiction · 25/03/2019 11:51

Romilly.
Juno too masculine sounding.
Elke is not to my taste at all.

Sophronia · 25/03/2019 11:48

Romilly makes me think of Rommel. I definitely wouldn’t call it a classic name!

Pieceofpurplesky · 25/03/2019 11:46

Romy rather than Romaliy
Juno

Barbarafromblackpool · 25/03/2019 11:45
