Middle Name For Harlow

Please help me decide!!

Harlow Olivia
Harlow Livea
Harlow Livienne
Harlow Ameline
Harlow Amelie
Harlow Amelia
Harlow Avianna

I love Olivia with Harlow but it's so popular and trendy that I'm kinda like blah on it.

Livea is a legit name that has been around even before Olivia. I like this spelling because Livia looks like you're butchering Olivia but Livea kind of looks unique.

I love Livienne but some people say it looks made up. I dont know the history. I just heard it and liked it. But I worry it's too rhymey with other middle names I may want to use for future children. Is that crazy? Does it matter if middle names rhyme or sound similar?

Other considerations are honor names like Ameline. I dont like Amelia as a first name but as a middle name with Harlow it sounds kinda good. So does Amelie.

I love Avianna but does it sound good in the middle spot?

I clearly need help deciding!! Thank you for the help!

Again, I have no clue what you're talking about when you list towns out!!

I usually dont like surnames as first names either. TBH though I've only ever heard Harlow as a first name with exception to Jean Harlow (pretty sure that isn't even her real name anyhow). I find it very feminine. You wouldn't name a boy that here.

Ok I really need middle name help. I might just cave and do Olivia. One less name to argue about!!

I am interested in L name suggestions though. Or names with Ls or Os.

Another option I liked was Harlow Violetta.

I live near Glasgow so the reference to the town isn't something that is known about here.
I know a Harlow, she's 3 and one of the loveliest children I've met.

My friend (UK not USA) has a daughter called Harlow. It's been fine at school, no comments about her name and suits her perfectly.
I love it.

I like Harlow Olivia too.

Give her a definitively female middle name. Then everyone won't make the usual assumption of "surname used as a first name means a boy."

Harlow is surname. Why use a last name (as in Jean Harlow) as a first name?
And it means pile of stones. www.ancestry.co.uk/name-origin?surname=harlow

There's also the fact that the US trend of giving girls surnames as first names has really not been adopted in the UK. It's quite unpopular, in fact. So you've got a really tough crowd here, OP.

But since you live in a different country with a different culture, let's accept the first name and focus on your question about middle name! My favourite from your list is Amelie. And I think it flows really well with Harlow!

In my defense I never knew about this Harlow place until after discussing the name! And even photos i see of it, it seems quite nice. But i live in San Francisco, California so I have no clue what you guys compare things to!

What about "Harlow Gold"? Then she can have a sister called "Sweet Surprise".

I prefer Livia (it's a legit name, cf. Livia Firth) to Livea, which just looks like Nivea.

The only name of places I really do know as a name is London of course but I'm NAF.

I sometimes think it's a shame that the U.K. didn't establish IP on our placenames so we could charge royalties to the American townships and children using them.

Well, OP, if anyone mentions Harlow as a place you can innocently direct them to the RHS website.

Harlow Carr looks pleasant lol. Again I do not know these place references being from US. They sound like small areas not that well known by you guys anyways! So I really dont think it matters.

I may just go with Harlow Livea. I like it a lot.

Someone upthread suggested Lydia. I think Harlow Lydia works well and as you are in the US I wouldn't give a stuff about any British connotations with Harlow.
