I think the former looks nicer but people will naturally spell the latter?

Another vote for Annabel Smile

Nocturnalpearl · 17/03/2019 23:02

Annabel for me

aliceandkids77 · 17/03/2019 22:12

much prefer Annabelle, to me Annabel seems unfinished x

Pemba · 17/03/2019 21:17

Nope what makes you think that? There are many names ending in 'bel', eg Isabel.

starzig · 17/03/2019 20:08

Annabelle (is Annabel not an Americanisation?)

IWouldBeSuperb · 17/03/2019 19:59

Annabel definitely!

17caterpillars1mouse · 17/03/2019 19:56

I prefer Annabel as it's less frilly than Annabelle but that's just personal preference. It's a lovely name

MollyHuaCha · 17/03/2019 19:54

Annabel

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 17/03/2019 16:38

I like Annabelle if the middle names and last names are shorter. I find it prettier and more feminine. If they're long, maybe do Annabel though so its not too lengthy.

EntirelyAnonymised · 17/03/2019 16:23

Annabel

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 17/03/2019 16:22

Annabel

But as you see, opinion will probably be 50/50, so go with what you prefer.

BlueMerchant · 17/03/2019 16:20

Annabelle

Justus22 · 17/03/2019 16:19

I prefer Annabelle. Annabel makes me think of the baby food pouches. Annabelle is actually my fave name too 💗

bridgetreilly · 17/03/2019 10:34

Annabel is MUCH nicer (and I think it is still more normal). Annabelle looks like you're trying too hard.

Cookit · 17/03/2019 10:19

Much much MUCH prefer Annabel. Annabelle looks fussy. However I disagree that people will default you Annabel, I think Annabelle is more common.

(Similarly I prefer Isobel to Isabelle).

Pemba · 16/03/2019 16:49

Annabel looks much classier, agree that Annabelle is a bit frilly and unnecessary.

DramaAlpaca · 16/03/2019 16:32

Annabel is much nicer.

Annabelle is too much, I think it's frilly.

MoreHairyThanScary · 16/03/2019 09:19

I have an Annabelle which gets spelt every which way, but so does my 5 letter very common 70's name. You have to go with what you love, people will misspell whatever!

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 16/03/2019 09:02

I know a girl called Anabell which I'd never seen before

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 16/03/2019 08:58

I prefer Annabel - it's a frilly name already (in a lovely way), but Annabelle might be a bit too flouncy.

Mamagin · 16/03/2019 08:57

Annabel. Environmentally friendly, think of the ink and pixels that will be saved over a lifetime, and the time saved by not having to write the extra le.
By the time she's at school she'll be called Anna, or Annie, or Bell anyway.

Catscakeandchocolate · 16/03/2019 08:56

Annabel

Sophronia · 16/03/2019 08:55

Definitely Annabel

firstbrightday · 16/03/2019 08:53

Annabel. Annabelle looks to fussy, I think it's because of the two ns and two ls, as I like Isabelle spelled that way.
