Are these names too marmite?

Trying to pick a girls name and here's the shortlist... I know a few of these some people either love or hate. I don't want to pick something too of the moment but I don't want something boring either... which would you pick? I have a son with a very classic name... Happy for other suggestions too.

Cleo
Jemima
Astrid
Blossom
Tulip
Agnes
Lavender
Celine

In our family the Lav is the loo so that would rule out Lavender for me.

My fave one in your list is Cleo, and the second is Agnes. Met someone called Audrey the other day which I also love.

Mmmm probably Jemima... I like really like Astrid but DH less keen. He likes Cleo more than I do. I do really like the more "normal" names Caroline, Helena, Susanna, Victoria so they're definitely still on the table. I like Eleanor too, but hate Ellie. I really love Lavender but I think the shortening issues probably rule it out and I think DH less keen. Celine is beautiful although a friend just named their dog it Confused

@NeverTalksToStrangers amazingly your random approach has resulted in quite a lot of names I like!

Iris, Orchid, Polly, Ariel, Susanna, Dorothy, Faith, Greta, Helen, Xanthi, Caroline, Victoria, Betty, Naomi all good.

I like Clementine, and Stella too, although can't have either iris or Stella as clash with last name.

Jemima seems pretty marmite. Most people liking Astrid and Cleo..? The flower names may be off the table

The only ones I really like are Cleo and Jemima but remember its your decision that matters! if you like the names then you should go for it x

Don't like any of them, sorry.
Going through my keyboard and thinking of the first/coolest/least of the moment name i can think of for each letter (because your list doesn't seem to follow any particular pattern or vibe)

Cleo and Astrid are lovely.

Absolutely no to the flower names.
The rest are ok.

But ultimately it's up to you what you pick. :)

Astrid and Cleo are lovely names.
How about Selina/Serena instead of Celine (Dion!)?
Second Lavinia instead of Lavender.
How about Iris or Rose as classic flower names? Or Dahlia?
I’m afraid Jemima is too Puddle-Duck for me.
Agnes I’m not sure about- maybe ok?

Cleo reminds me of hollyoaks chav family the McQueens and I also hate any names that are cars anyway, as to me they sound chavvy. Cleo, Bentley,Mercedes etc

Astrid is the only okay one for me out of the list

Astrid (name of my friends baby and I love it!)
And Lavendar. Don't hear this one enough! Although I've just thought that it would probably get shortened to 'Lav' which isn't so great Confused

I like Celine and Agnes.

I also really like Astrid, I know a little 3yr old with that name and she is so strong and happy, I smile whenever I think of the name.

I am not a fan of frilly, flowery names so blossom and tulip aren’t for me.
Lavender is alright, reminds me of Lavender brown from Harry Potter (not a bad thing!)

Cleo, is sweet but not OTT, I can imagine a teenage cleo just as much as a baby cleo...hope that makes sense.

Cleo - like, but homophobe to the car and that might be bothersome
Jemima - lovely and I think best fit from your list to a classic boy's name
Astrid - OK, wouid sit well with other Scandi or German names
Blossom - no. Might make a nice nn for a flower name though
Tulip - don't like
Agnes - like
Lavender - like, but wouid you want to live with the inevitable shortening to Lav or Lavvie? And definitely don't use if the classic boys name you used is Louis
Celine - don't like, sounds a bit wet (sorry)

I know a Cleo and she constantly gets called Chloe. Honestly you’d be amazed how often it happens!

Jemima is my favourite from your list.
