Please can I have your opinions on our shortlist for our daughter due in May!

Nina
Tessa
Carla
Bonnie
Mabel

Her middle name will be June after my Granny. Big sister is Grace Helena.

My favourite would be Carla but prefer Cara.
Think Helena and Cara would work really nice together.

Not really a fan of any but I’d probably say Bonnie by itself but would never call a child BJ so of your list I think I’d go for Mabel

I like Nina and Carla. Tessa is nice too. I don't like Bonnie at all(too cutesy) and Mabel is very dowdy and dreary.

I know a bonnie and I like it but don’t at all like bonnie June Frankly though how often do any of us say or have said out loud our first and middle names together other than for forms etc. Oh and wedding vows - will never forget friend who had kept midddle name pearl fairly secret until we all heard it at wedding ! Hmmm the bj issue would make me rethink middle name or reject best name on your list.

Be mindful that Bonnie and Mable are names that are fashionable now. These will be names that most girls who have it will be a similar age.

These names aren't particularly to my taste, however i'd choose Nina.

Bonnie, Tessa and Mabel are all a bit dog/horse names for me, sorry!

I quite like Bonnie but wouldn’t choose it because with middle name her initials would be BJ and that makes me think of blow job.
