We’ve decided on Albie for our DS, please no opinions on the name or any new suggestions as this is what we have decided on. We want a modern or Italian middle name. All ideas appreciate

Thank you all, you’ve definitely given us some food for thought. We’re considering Arthur as well.

Alberto Matteo
Alberto Luciano
Alberto Federico

Albie May sound cute but really doesn't travel well into other languages.

Albie Luca sounds like Albiluca.

I like Albie Rafael, Albie Tomaso and Albie Matteo. Not sure why some are surprised by Albie as it's in the top 100 popular names (at 57), and is more popular than Albert.

ElizabethMainwaring · 24/02/2019 04:17

I knew a six year old Albie about 15 years ago, so it's not that new a name, quintella.

Fuppy · 24/02/2019 03:40

Albie Gino

Quintella · 24/02/2019 02:43

When did Albie become a name? I've only noticed it crop up in the past year or so.

TheGreatestShoeman · 24/02/2019 02:31

Albie percival
Albie wolfric
Albie Brian
...

AvoidingMarking · 24/02/2019 01:44

@Thatsnotmyotter precisely why I took it off my list!

helacells · 23/02/2019 23:31

Thatsnotmyotter · 23/02/2019 23:26

I actually really like Albie but can’t not think ‘the racist dragon’, anyone else?

Albie George is really nice.

flowersaremyfave · 23/02/2019 22:47

I'd go for Thomas
Albie Thomas sounds nice

Tulipvase · 23/02/2019 22:43

Albie Finn

EssentialHummus · 23/02/2019 22:41

I’m not sure I’d combine Albie/Albert with modern or Italian... James, maybe? Otherwise I’d have said Edwin.

AvoidingMarking · 23/02/2019 22:38

Joseph

LavenderBelle · 23/02/2019 22:35

We’re considering Albie Luca and Albie George

Middle names to go with Albert, as you said you’re considering the full form for his BC...

Albert Enzo
Albert Francesco
Albert Giovanni
Albert Giacomo
Albert Luigi
Albert Leonardo
Albert Matteo
Albert Marco
Albert Vincenzo
Albert Luca
Albert Lorenzo

LavenderBelle · 23/02/2019 22:18

I do like James @Chlo1647 but it sounds weird with our surname beginning with ‘S’ as I have a very mild lisp

Yorkiebar71 · 23/02/2019 22:18

A work colleague has just called her son Albie has got middle name Ray

Chlo1674 · 23/02/2019 22:12

Sorry just saw you want modern or Italian of which James is neither Blush

Chlo1674 · 23/02/2019 22:11

I’d go for something simple like James as a middle name.

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 23/02/2019 22:11

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 23/02/2019 22:10
