OP, why are you only engaging with the one poster who likes your possible names?

They are awful, FWIW.

DulciUke · 04/03/2019 21:48

Brianna is the only one that seems barely tolerable. I'm assuming that you are pronouncing it bree-ahn-ah?

singingismypassion · 04/03/2019 21:37

All awful so sorry

Lampy123 · 25/02/2019 18:34

FluffyMunchin thank you! Do you like your name? What nicknames do you use/like for your name?

I have a feeling you’re a journalist....

If not - some of the following feel similar to the sorts of sounds you like and might appeal?

Evelyn
Cora
Coraline
Aubrey
Rihanna
Joanna
Camille
Ellis

Bumblebeesmum · 23/02/2019 23:07

Are you a journalist?

Cyberworrier · 23/02/2019 23:02

Evelyn/Eveline is a lovely name, I really don’t like the spelling you suggested, sort turns it into an air freshener Everlynn.
Coralie or Coraline both good, not so keen on Coralynn. Is that a made up spelling?
Ellason sounds like a misspelt surname to me. Joelle and Brianna are ok but a bit TV show character to my ears. I think Evelyn and Coralie are much prettier!

Bumblebeesmum · 23/02/2019 23:00

I’ve realised I didn’t answer your actual post..... I don’t think I could really rank them as I really do hate them all but possibly the one with ‘son of’ on the end probably the worst. Possibly Joelle is the most passable.

Are you based in the U.K.?

Bumblebeesmum · 23/02/2019 22:58

To me they’re all hideous - but I do think someone will hate any name you choose so I’m not meaning to be rude but just give my (irrelevant) opinion. Are they genuine names?

Sophronia · 23/02/2019 22:54

Joelle is quite nice, and Brianna is ok although not my style. Not keen on -lynn names, and Ellison looks better than Ellason.

pilates · 23/02/2019 16:10

All awful, sorry

goldengummybear · 23/02/2019 15:17

Ellason is Son of Ella so surely a boy's name?

Coralynn is the closest to a good name- Cora, Coral, Coraline, Cora Lynn (Lynn is the middle name), Carolyn, Cara, Carol etc

Everlynn - go for the traditional spelling.

Brianna- not keen on Brian and this is female Brian

Joelle -female Joel? Too close to Jolene (stuff to dye lip hair and Dolly Parton song)

BlueMerchant · 23/02/2019 14:49

Everlynn - It's what I would pick out your list. Not the spelling.
Coralynn- i'd likely nn Cora.
Ellason- Just doesn't look right and sorry but but 'cheap'.
Joelle- hair removal cream or something & a bit (like already mentioned)- country singer.
Brianna- American high school brat. More importantly I really don't like Brian. It's Brian to me.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 23/02/2019 08:26

All terrible.

Marcipex · 23/02/2019 08:15

Gypsy names?
I've seen a few programmes featuring travellers and their style of wedding dresses, and the girls were called Mary, Bridget etc.

Brianna sounds like you wanted a boy to call Brian.
All the rest sound like us style mashups, as others have said.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 23/02/2019 08:06

Ellason. I despise the name Ella and equally abide Son on the end of a girls name. It looks really masculine.

Evelynn. I don't like but its a nice enough name. Why do you need the extra n though.

Coralynn. I prefer Coralie.

Breanna. Nice name. Glad to be able to say something positive.

Joelle. To masculine for me. I like frilly girly names. I'll hold my hands up.

BertrandRussell · 23/02/2019 07:57

Sweet Valley High.

FluffyMunchkin · 23/02/2019 07:57

My name is on your list.

It has been complimented throughout my travels worldwide, including the UK (I am not from here).

I would also like to let the rude posters on this thread know that I am not chavvy or trashy, nor a gypsy (which would be fine if I was!), nor the child of a teen parent (which would be fine if I was!) and I am not American (which would be fine if I was!). To the posters who simply said they didn't like it or it wasn't for them, kudos for being reasonable.

Barbarafromblackpool · 23/02/2019 07:54

Cora?

MrPickles73 · 23/02/2019 07:52

Sorry not keen on any of them...

MercyBodle · 23/02/2019 07:50

From best to worst:

Brianna (only one I like. )
Joelle (2nd spot because I like Jo)
Evelyn (only this spelling)
Ellison (only this spelling)
Coralynn (Coraline or just Cora would be much better)

Roroba · 23/02/2019 05:46

All of them are modern and meaningless . Sorry I hope I don’t offend

Threenanger · 23/02/2019 05:44

Sorry don’t like any either, agree sound too American or made up... with made up spellings

SpareASquare · 23/02/2019 03:26

I’d immediately think ‘teen parent’
The spelling really ruins a couple of not bad names and turns them into something completely different but not at all nice.
I could rank Alison
Evelyn
Brianna
Cora
Joelle
