Six letter girls names

movesyouveneverseen · 21/02/2019 16:14

We’ve somehow managed to give both our DC names with six letters, now DC3 is due and we want a name with six letters.

We are expecting a girl and so far our list consists of Sophia and Amelie. Although our DD1 is Everly which I am unsure works with Amelie; it sounds a bit of a mouthful!

Any suggestions?! I feel like I’m going in circles!

Hmm, not sure my Dcats would like another pet (DH definitely wouldn't) maybe I can rename one of the (male) cats. Grin

Maybe my DD will name her baby Astrid (in 15 or so years time).

What about Merida?

LaurenSarah22 · 21/02/2019 16:38

I'm going to say Lauren because it's my name or Millie because it's my LO name

Normandy144 · 21/02/2019 16:37

Darcey would go nicely with Everly?

movesyouveneverseen · 21/02/2019 16:37

@banggoesthattheory I quite like Olivia but we have a very close relative called Oliver and so am put off using it. Thank you for your suggestions though.

Thank you ReliasBlu, it’s definitely not for me but I really appreciate the suggestion.

@tinty I don’t think the Everly and Elodie combo works for me. I’d end up getting confused in my soon to be tired state!!

@tinty could you get a pet and name it Astrid if you aren’t having any more?! Just a random suggestion but you’d get your Astrid Grin

Ok so Astrid is a No, I will keep bringing it up on these threads though.

How about Elodie? Pronounced L O D.

Run that by DH.

@skyejuly I’m not sold in Lilian but it’s made me think of Lillie? But again, Everly and Lillie, is it too much of a mouthful?!

@erja are you having a baby soon? You could use it, if not could you get pregnant with a girl and use it? Grin

DP didn't like it, boo Sad So I couldn't use it. DD on the other hand loves it and says why didn't you call me Astrid instead of my dull boring name the lovely name DS8 choose for me.

movesyouveneverseen · 21/02/2019 16:31

@flowersaremyfave Soohia is definitely top of the list. I just want to make sure we haven’t missed anything amazing!

Totally understand about you not wanting to use Hallie. I wouldn't either!

I don't think Sophia is popular though, I only know one. It's a beautiful name I'd use it
