I've narrowed down a list of over 50 names for my baby girl. Which would be a good name for my baby girl ? Charlotte or Amelia ?

To me Amelia sounds more like a noise than a name. I'm not crazy about either but I'd go with Charlotte of the two.

Opheliablox · 20/02/2019 07:46

Agree with pp re Emilia.

IncrediblySadToo · 20/02/2019 07:45

What was her old name?

Cbeebiesrehab · 20/02/2019 07:43

Charlotte.
I wouldn’t use Amelia because of the medical meaning.

I’d go for Emilia, but I’m biased it’s my name!
FWIW I’m a twin and my sister is called Charlotte! They’re both lovely.

CeeCee88 · 20/02/2019 07:06

Amelia, sounds much nicer and seems a lot less dated.

Both are lovely. If you can't decide now wait until she comes. We had a list of about 5 names when out youngest was born.

Amelia.

DivasInTheWay · 20/02/2019 05:47

Charlotte out the two. Amelia is not pleasant and has a really whiny sound.

Threenanger · 20/02/2019 05:47

Everyone will pick Charlotte because MN hate popular names, and Charlotte is slightly less popular than Amelia. But I will go against the grain and say I love Amelia...it’s melodic and feminine.
