Boy & Girl name ideas for new baby business

keetee83 · 15/02/2019 13:05

Hi guys,

Looking for some inspiration for a new baby-related business (can't give too much away just now) - but initial thoughts were for a boy and girl combo, but most of the ones we like have been taken (Tilly & Max, Lottie & Oscar)

Any suggestions welcome!

p.s. There may well be a lovely free gift (around £30 value, baby/toddler related) in it for someone if we do chose a name from this thread!

Thought of another - Barney and Beau.

I really like Noah & Bea as suggested above, theres something rhythmic about two syllable name followed by a single one.
Rolls off the tongue...

Dorie and Jack
Leo and Fi
Harry and Jess
Mimi and Joe

I would choose names that mean something to you. I love a nice independent shop with a good, personal story.
Can you use you & DH's middle names? Parents names? Anything to make it better than randomly plucking names out of thin air.

I’d go alliterative and not too long.

Moe & May / Moe & Maya
Eli & Eve
Gracie & George
Seren & Sam
Tilly & Tom
Leo & Luna

Tilly and Finn
Dotty and Oscar
Katie and Tim
Rosie and Tom

Just steer clear of Daisy & Tom as that’s already a well-known kids / baby brand.

I think it depends on what you're trying to sell.

Baby Food - something cutesy and memorable, perhaps alliterative:
Bella and Bailey
Sophie and Sam
Maisie and Milo
Gracie and George

High End/Bespoke Baby Clothing - something a bit frilly and posh
Albie and Araminta
Hugo and Hermione
Monty and Miranda
Sophia and Sebastian
Arabella and Arlo

A Baby Related Service - something relatable and 'standard':
Lily and Jack
Amelia and George
Rosie and Alfie
Isabel and Sam

vintagechick43 · 15/02/2019 14:51

Harry & Rosie
Lily & Tom
Molly & Ted

Fred & Rose
Eva & Adey

Surely this indicates these names have been done to death? They all tend to blend into one twee lump for me... Sorry

Theo and Hetty
