Evelina
Celeste
Mabel

i adore Celeste & Mabel. not too keen on Evelina. How about Eveline, Evelyn, Evangeline instead? just some ideas! congratulations darling x

Love Evelina but there are a LOT of Eve names around now. Celeste is really nice too. Don't like Mabel, too much like Table.

I prefer Celeste.
Mabel is very plain and old fashioned.

Celeste is gorgeous and the standout for me. Evelina is fussy and Evie names are over-used. Just really dislike Mabel.

Evelina if you want your child to be one of many Ev/Eva/Evies... And Mabel if you’re planning to birth an octogenarian 😂 Celeste, however, is beautiful.

Absolutely love Mabel. It’s becoming more popular again and is so cute for a little girl but also grows well with them x

Celestine is my favorite name for a girl so I vote Celeste. I don't know if I would pick a name until i saw the kid though. I mean its probably like with pets, sometimes you meet them and you just know the right name for them. Let's just hope she isn't a Patch lol.

Evelina is a bit of a tragic figure in Dubliners (James Joyce) to me (IIRC).

Celeste's nice.

Not keen on Mabel.

Evelina is OK and I loathe Mabel, so old fashioned and frumpy.

Evelina is famously a children's hospital. I don't like Mabel at all - it's a really clunky name. Celeste is best out of your options - but I'm not wildly keen.

@apolloanddaphne ffs what a surprise, someone else who doesn't realise that that is just another way of spelling the same thing in lots of accents.

Thanks all! I would say Ev-ah-leena but ever-leena sounds pretty much the same to me at the normal speed you would say it, but yes it might depend on accents.

Probably wouldn’t use Evie! I don’t hate it but I’m not too keen. I think Ev would be cute or possibly Eva

If Evelina would be shortened to Evie or whatever doesn't that make calling her Evelina a bit pointless? Millions of Evies / Eva / Eves.

Celeste is the nicest name, but it is the name of a very recent video game..... and also makes me think of Marie Celeste.

Mabel is ugly.

Names a bit like Celeste to explore might be Celia, Cecilly, Cecilia, Seline, Selina, Serena, Cresida, Estelle, Celestia.
