Thanks so much for the ideas. I think we've found the name over a very nice anniversary dinner! I'll start a new thread but I really think we've done it!

I love Vanessa but it's my sister in law. Know a Rosalind who is called Roz which I don't like. Mariella is a bit too frilly. Oh this is hard! Thanks for the help though. OH likes Francine. I don't at all.

Many years ago I met a Susannah who had two sisters, Constance and Vanessa. I marvelled at the trio of lovely names, and so wished I was one of her sisters to have been given an equally lovely name....

Oh that's a shame. Two of my favourite names. Tell him he has no taste! Although I suppose it's true that both Susannah and Marianne have an 'ann' emphasis, but I would have thought that they each have sufficient other different sounds in them for that to not matter. And you say your older daughter is normally Susie anyway.

Madeleine? That's lovely too. Clementine?

I initially didn't think it would work because they both have the Anne/Anna ending, but I actually think it's OK. They're very nice names.

Lenny!! First thought. Second thought they are both lovely names. Third thought they go well together. The Lenny thing is a bit obvious though so I personally would avoid just because it would seem a bit more about me than them. Congrats btw.

Yes 3in4years that was my concern. My mum's name is Anne so I suppose it would keep her happy!
