Looking for middle names for my twin girls!

They made a bit of a surprise entrance at 32 weeks on Saturday, so we've only just decided on first names - which are now Marianne and Clementine.

Because these are long and a bit frilly, I think we'd want something relatively short and simple for middle names. But nothing too "girly" - I'm quite feminist and don't like flower names like Rose for example

Any suggestions?? TIA!

Marianne and Clementine are lovely.
I'd go for one-syllable middle names - Claire's good for with Marianne and Beth would work well with Clementine. Or Maeve perhaps?

Clementine Hope and Marianne Eve?

GemmaXOX · 07/02/2019 16:31

Isabella, Eva, Ava, Bella, Belle, Eloise, Olivia, Lily, Rose, Skye.

Congrats!

Their first names are already quite long (and girly in fact), so might not need middle names at all? Some ideas though, probably repeats but:

Marianne Eve
Marianne Beth
Marianne Paige
Clementine May
Clementine Jean

MumUnderTheMoon · 07/02/2019 16:12

Do they have to have middle names? The names you have chosen are lovely and don't need to be added to necessarily.

Congratulations on your twins! I'm not sure you understand what a feminist is though. With 3 daughters you may need to consider rejecting femininity ( liking flowers) isn't empowering that's copying men. Naming your daughter Rose and telling her she can run her own company on her lines one day is more helpful to other women.

ContraryToPopularBelief · 07/02/2019 09:15

Clementine Alice
Marianne Claire

Feminist names.....
Clementine Maya
Marianne Ada

RoseHarper · 07/02/2019 09:01

Marianne Rae F and Clementine Bea F - think something short and simple off-sets the longer first names.

DryIce · 07/02/2019 08:57

Marianne Pearl

Clementine Jane

comradelouise · 07/02/2019 08:55

Surname begins with F, and their big sister is Audrey Elise if that helps!
