If not Juliette. Any suggestions?

So after my last post about DP not being sure about Juliette as he hates the potential for possible DD (we don’t know the sex) to be nicknamed Julie.
Which nearly everyone agreed with me was extremely, if not completely unlikely.

I’m looking for any suggestions for alternatives. I still love Juliette so I find hard to think of anything else. Plus he hasn’t outright refused to use it yet.

DD1 has a long name so I feel like possible DD2 should be similar (I’ll post DD1s name in a separate comment).
I also prefer classic names but less common with a literary, Greek mythology or botantical reference.

So please, give me some inspiration 🙏🏻

You say botanical reference - I know sisters called Penelope and Rosa and think that sounds lovely.

I still think Juliet is the best name ever though

We have a Juliet who's almost 5 and nobody has ever attempted to call her Julie. She gets lots of compliments on her name!

Juliette is lovely and I think she’d be more likely to be nicknamed Jools.

Antoinette? Lisette (leezette)? Marietta?

I love juliette - it could be shortened to Jules which is nicer than Julie or you could just not shorten it at all, I look after a Thomas who has always been Thomas, never Tom or Tommy, he prefers his full name and corrects people who shorten it.

Emmeline and Rosalind are nice names with a similar vibe to juliette.
