Jed- thoughts on the name?

39 weeks and still can't decide, we've been going back and forth on names through ths pregnancy. One name I keep going back to is Jed but I'm still unsure as I've mentioned it to a few people who haven't been keen on it.
Also if anyone has any suggestions on middle names, I'm thinking something long

My brother is Jethro shortened to Jed

My DB is Jeremy but has always been Jez. Jed is quite cool but it does sound like it should be short for something.

He will either be impossibly cool, or a bit, you know, odd. No middle ground
Quite like it. Short and fun. Definitely need a longer middle name.

I like it. Also Jeb (short for Jebadiah to give him a 'proper name'). Both strong names.
