Argh, I'm stuck and looking for some inspiration please.

I have a DS called Harris, 2 years after we named him there is a Harris every where I turn. Just found out we are having a DS2. I had my heart set on Struan but they are popping up all over the place.

We are toying over Angus and Innes but not really loving either as much.

Any thoughts? Smile

I love love love Hamish but although we have a Scottish surname, we are neither Scottish nor live in Scotland, so felt it was a bit too much with the surname.

lol not at all @MrsJayy Smile. We have 2 Callum's in the family, a Callan, Fraser, Fergus and our dog is hamish 🙈. Surname starts with a Brodie so most B's and anything ending in is or y is out too.

Makes me long for a DD - would be much easier!
This poor boy is going to be nameless!

I have met a few little Ferguses in the last few years but they were named after dads.

FurzeandHarebells · 29/01/2019 11:56

To be fair Harris was already quite popular two years ago.

I know 2 Angus’s and 1 Struan. Haven’t met a Fergus for years.

What about Keir, Gavin or Murray?

Vicious2018 · 29/01/2019 11:56

Andrew. My ds is Andrew and there is only one other Andrew in his big primary school. There is loads of middle aged and older Andrews but not so many kids.

I’m scottish and the lady in the hospital next to me when I gave birth called her wee boy Macaulay. I think that’s cute!

MrsJayy · 29/01/2019 11:49

Struan is nice and not well used of course it depends where you like if it is a callum or Archie demographic

comebacksoonsusan · 29/01/2019 11:46

I really like Angus by the way, but I have an Elspeth so couldn't have Angus for DS due to Family Ness!

IMissGin · 29/01/2019 11:46

Oh no! I have a Struan and only ever met one other....

comebacksoonsusan · 29/01/2019 11:45

I love Hamish and Fergus. I don't live in Scotland though so don't know how popular they are.
