Adelaide or Lydia?

We’ve been back and forth so many times and cannot decide - we’ll probably have to toss a coin soon!

Does anyone have any strong opinions either way?

We already have a Harriet.

Surname is three syllables, begins with B. Middle name will probably be Florence.

Adelaide is a name like Sydney or Devon or Skye or any other place name. would be weird if they ever wanted to go to Australia. (Im still waiting for aomeone to come over with names such as southampton or Edinburgh or Sussex!!)

Not one that really goes with Harriet in my mind. But shouldnt stop you if you like it.

Adelaide is more unusual than Lydia. If you want to shorten it there is always Adele or Adela.
Both names have a nice feel on thee tongue.

My g.grandma's name was Adelaide, and possibly named after either one of Queen Victoria's children, who had it as a middle name, or Queen Adelaide, wife of King William IV.

The place in Australia is named after Queen Adelaide.

both are great but prefer Lydia - although knew a v cool Adee but think because of the 2 d's it may sound clunkier with a 3 syllable surname

or all 3! Lydia Adelaide Florence is great...

I like Lydia better. Adelaide is fine in itself but would get shortened to Addy, which I don't like.
