Having now read the full thread, my daughter's name is on here. It's a really standard name which everyone has heard of and has the traditional spelling.

So I guess there are different ideas of unusual!

I once met a little boy called Thorfinn.

I love it. He lives in Orkney where the name is historically relevant I think, but he has a big name to grow into.

everyflight I knew a Gage when I lived in Canada. Must be in his twenties now. Also a female Chayse who must be a similar age.

My son went to nursery with a boy called Wolfgang and one called Bear.

I also met a newborn called Graham at work which I thought was weird lol

I also know a Chardonnay and a Merlot 😂 not related thank god!

A lot of people have said Elodie - there’s 4 Elodie’s (that I know of!) in my son’s Infant school.

I have heard quite a few that would be unusual to us but there are lots of nationalities at our school.
My sons (4) mate is called Martin
I love some of the African names at my daughters school
Precious and Promise are two that spring to mind.

There's an Ottilie at ours. I'm not sure if I've spelt it right but I guess it's spelt how it sounds.
I think it's unusual but I quite like it.
