Just googled Lolita thinking what's wrong with that, it's pretty but what a shame with that gross link.

solarsystem · 23/07/2019 18:37

There was a Lolita at the group's at the same time as I was. Her parents hadn't googled it and were upset about the reaction from grandparents etc.

Ravingstarfish · 23/07/2019 18:21

There was a thread about a child called pancake recently Grin

Shplot · 23/07/2019 18:20

I know a Jack (first name) Daniels (surname) apparently Jack is a family name used a lot but I just couldn’t

userabcname · 23/07/2019 18:19

Ok so not me but my friend swears there's a Snow and a Seven at one of her baby clubs (siblings).

VictoriaBites · 23/07/2019 18:15

Bunny I think you'll find it was Tiamaria and Jackdaniels Wink. The mother was insistent on that point (the story was about school uniforms iirc but got derailed by a million people pointing at the names).

Bunnyfuller · 23/07/2019 18:10

We play a game where I talk to my DCs (teenagers) loudly, using weird names. Spent a flight to Greece calling DD1 Satan.

Fabulous.

Bunnyfuller · 23/07/2019 18:08

Someone somewhere called hers Tia Maria and Jack Daniels. It was on a FB site that posts funny news articles

Cheerfullygo4 · 23/07/2019 17:52

Not at baby group but there is a child on IG called Bonnibelle.

ChloeDecker · 23/07/2019 17:49

Overheard a Lucifer

The TV show called Lucifer must be playing a part, surely!? 😀

Isadora

Overheard a Lucifer out shopping about 2 months ago. It was 100% Lucifer as the adult used the name a lot whilst performance parenting. (Cute kid though made me smile)

In my circle of friends we have:

Oakley
Pixi
Stanley
Frank
Calesea
Chardonnay
And DD1 who is so unusual there were fewer than 3 named in her birth year (too outing!)

Bobbiepin · 23/07/2019 11:45

And an Alpha who most certainly does not live up to his name. His brother is named Simon. Go figure.

Bobbiepin · 23/07/2019 11:42

Bit late to the game and not RTFT but Tova is Hebrew for 'good'.

Not heard at toddler groups but my last teaching cohort had:
Fanta
Amen
Treasure
Lulia
Chyna (funnily enough with an Aysha, pronounced Asia, in the same class)
and a 17 year old Margaret

Proseccoinamug · 23/07/2019 11:33

Memerency

I’d forgotten that one!

Proseccoinamug · 23/07/2019 11:33

I know a Nuala. She’s six.

Lux
River
Gordon
Leighton
Cêt (Kate with a Welsh spelling but it’s not actually a Welsh name, Cadi would be the Welsh version)
Minion (yes, really)
Tighe

666onmyhead · 23/07/2019 07:37

Chevy and Chardonnay ( twins BG )

FutureMrsTempah · 23/07/2019 07:12

user1199 · 23/07/2019 06:55

I was introduced to a newborn Ralph and a toddler Geoff the other week. I struggled to keep a straight face. Confused. How can you peer into a newborn Moses basket and think awww you look like a Ralph/Geoff?
