Godspower? Wow what a name!

JanuaryBirthdays · 25/07/2019 08:45

I know of a baby Guy and preschooler Deborah.

ghislaine · 25/07/2019 08:44

Godspower.

I feel that may be saddling the poor boy with some heavy expectations.

Nogodsnomasters · 25/07/2019 08:41

Coist, layne (both boys)

lumpy76 · 25/07/2019 08:34

There's a Mum at school who has a baby boy Lou "Loo". Not Louis just Lou. I know it's a name but it just seems a bit well like calling him "toilet".

The one I know of is pronounced
Nevaya with emphasis on the second syllable.

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 25/07/2019 07:54

I keep reading about the name Neveah, but have never met one! Do you pronounce it like Nivea??

Chocolatedaim · 25/07/2019 07:39

Huxley

Swayde (I think that’s how they spelt it)

Benjispruce · 25/07/2019 07:36

I guess I’m thinking of Costa de la Luz in Spain. Coast of light.

Dandelion1993 · 24/07/2019 20:52

Lucian and I LOVED it!

Tini17 · 24/07/2019 20:45

Another Nevaeh in DSD’s class.
And Tinkabelle.

ReggaetonLente · 24/07/2019 18:16

Definitely not. I remember it from my textbooks at school! And a quick Google just confirmed.

You might be thinking of another language that uses the same root word though?

Benjispruce · 24/07/2019 16:31

I always thought light was Luz.

My mum said that Benji - I didn't know what she was talking about so maybe a generational thing? It's Latin for light, the root of names like Lucy and Lucia. I liked the sound and meaning and thought it went well with her first name.

ZandathePanda · 23/07/2019 23:39

Harley-Quinn

Not joking. She’s one.

hopewardrobe · 23/07/2019 22:36

Velvet and her sister is Plum. Beautiful children and their names really do suit them.

Benjispruce · 23/07/2019 22:16

Recently heard of a Nevaeh . Apparently it’s Heaven backwards 😂

Minai · 23/07/2019 22:13

Jetta. Love it, such a cool name

Benjispruce · 23/07/2019 22:12

Lux? After the soap 🧼?

Bol87 · 23/07/2019 22:10

I once taught a set of twins called George & Harrison.. their younger brother was called Lennon. Grin

I guess Paul & John didn’t quite cut it..

ReggaetonLente · 23/07/2019 21:41

Ha - DD's middle name is Lux. I didn't think we were cool enough to use it as a first name

Erismorn · 23/07/2019 21:23

Echo. At least, I think that was his name. Every time his mother spoke to him or about him she said " E C H O Echo". Not sure if it was an affectation or if his name was Echo Echo.
