All of which just sound odd in relation to toddlers!

Fanta is a fairly normal African name, it translates as 'Lovely Day'.

tammytoby · 25/01/2019 22:48

Yannick is quite common in Germany

And I think Bear Grylls has a son called Huckleberry

Rtmhwales · 25/01/2019 22:47

Not at babygroup but my friend's sons are named Oakley and Kessler Hmm

Rtmhwales · 25/01/2019 22:46

@MissMoodyMoo Clayton not a real name? I'm Canadian and it's super popular and was even more so in the 80s. I know several adult male Clayton's (Clay) and one recently born baby. That's surprised me.

neurotransmittens · 25/01/2019 22:45

Trelawney. I know it is used but it sounds odd when meeting a newborn for the first time.

The name Fanta I think would open up whole lot of teasing varieties 😶

Mrsfrumble · 25/01/2019 22:44

I met a newborn Roy the other day. I bet he’ll be the only one in his class when he goes to school!

I once went to a baby dance class where there were two baby Yannicks. The teacher kept going on about how funny it was while the two mothers sat glaring at each other, obviously both pissed of that their supposedly “unique” baby name wasn’t.
