I’ve heard from a friend about a child in their class whose first name is ‘Handsome Stranger’ and it’s not shortened to anything Confused

GetOnWithLife · 03/02/2019 23:02

Lol, are you in Australia? We use “Clayton’s” for lots of stuff that’s not real.

@Jezzifishie I keep forgetting and think the dog is called Kipper 😂

BusySittingDown · 03/02/2019 20:53

Btw, it's been a looong time since I've been to toddler group so the child is probably about 9 now.

BusySittingDown · 03/02/2019 20:50

Jamiroquai.

Used to give me the giggles every time his mum yelled it across the playground.

HettieBettie · 03/02/2019 20:50

Alby for a girl

Jezzifishie · 03/02/2019 20:47

@3out - apparently their real names are Elizabeth, David and Christopher. Not sure how you get Biff, Chip and Kipper, but there you go.

I'm delighted to see the odd 70s/80s name creeping back in on these lists. DD has a very 80s name, the usual comment I get is 'oh, I've got an N - she's in her thirties now...'

3out · 03/02/2019 20:21

Most unusual kids names I see regularly are Biff, Chip and Kipper. Four years since I first ‘met’ them, and I still haven’t got a clue which one’s which.
