Winter or Eden?

And if you hate them both, what else might I like? Very complicated surname so would prefer 2 syllables and easy to spell. Oh and it's for a girl...

Love Winter, beautiful name. Would have been a top contender for my unborn baby if he wasn't a boy Grin

GB54 · 23/01/2019 17:20

Prefer Winter to Aura!
Maybe a bit out there but what about Raven?

pilates · 23/01/2019 17:12

Definitely Eden

Eden.
How about Opal ?

Icklepup · 23/01/2019 16:34

Eden or River!

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 14:55

Not keen on Aura either sorry. Laura or Maura are nice.

daisypond · 23/01/2019 14:55

I quite like both, but I do like Winter. I don't like Edie at all, so that might put me off using Eden if it's going to be shortened. Soreya is normally spelled as Soraya. It's a very classic traditional Arabic name - lovely. Don't like Aura at all. Aurora is a better, though I'm not so keen on that.

lelrx · 23/01/2019 14:48

I love winter but my husband says no because she is due in June! 🙄

erja · 23/01/2019 13:37

I love Eden for a boy, not for a girl.
Not too keen on Winter, but it's okay!

Phebes · 23/01/2019 13:30

Winter is lovely

lakehouse · 23/01/2019 13:22

And I've just seen Aura in another thread- is that better?

I much prefer Winter.

Other options:

Violet
Astrid
Laurel
Primrose
Hazel
Robin

notsurewhatshappening · 23/01/2019 12:51

I prefer Eden as you could use Edie as a nickname.

MumUnderTheMoon · 23/01/2019 12:51

I love winter I think it's a great name. Other than that Kestra, Alice, Tessa, Chessie, Kara

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 12:50

I'm not keen on either but Eden will probably be Ede and Winter will be Wint. Both names are a bit unisex.

GB54 · 23/01/2019 12:42

Winter! I know 2 young Edens so it seems to be becoming popular.
River, Silver, Holly, Flora, Birdie?

lakehouse · 23/01/2019 12:35

And I'd be interested to know what assumptions /associations you'd make with either!

Ah but can I have a Jan/Feb baby names Summer or Autumn? I like both of those but thought better to be season appropriate 🤷🏻‍♀️ Like River too and have never heard Soreya- worry that may be too much spelling for a poor child with my surname though.

Whisky2014 · 23/01/2019 12:28
