Names like Careen/Carina?

Okay so we are between Zyra or possibly Careen - happy to pick once she gets here. I’m just not 100% confident in Careen - I have always LOVED Carina but someone else in the family already has it (spelt with a K) Can anyone think of anything else similar? Husband has ruled out Serena 🙄
Or generally any not too common sharp sounding names?

I like Carina a lot. Cara and Cora are similar. Also Marina or Sabrina. How about Zara or Xenia?

"To careen" means "to tip a ship onto its side" or "to move swiftly in an uncontrolled way".

I love Keren and Carenza.

I know a Calina which is very pretty.

Don’t like Careen personally - don’t think it’s a good substitute for Carina.

"Careen" makes me think of the verb "careen." I prefer Corinne, Corinna, Coraleen etc.

Marina is lovely if you like Carina and want to keep the same sounds. I know a Corinne who pronounces her name as Careen. I don’t like Zyra.

I don't know Careen but I have heard Carina which is pretty in my opinion. There was a song years ago called, "Carina Carina", if I remember correctly.

Corinne and Cora are quite nice names too.

Carina is the bit in your lungs where the windpipe splits to supply your left and right lung. Just FYI if you didn't know.

I like it, it's refreshing.

I know a Corinna and a Corinne in real life too
