I’m speaking for SIL, who wanted help as she’s 27 weeks pregnant with triplet girls, two of which are identical and one who is fraternal. She’s being induced in 2-3 weeks and is desperate for names so please help!
Matilda- certain on this one
Pippa nn Pip
Harriet nn Hattie
Tess
Betsy
Violet
Charlotte nn Lottie
Middle names will be Madeline, Louise, Elizabeth, Rose or any of the others not used. Thanks ladies

Matilda, Harriet and Charlotte or Pippa.
I think any 3 of Tilly, Lottie, Hattie and Pippa all work well together. I’d avoid Tess and Tilly and Tess are too similar in my opinion. I know you haven’t mentioned calling Matilda Tilly but it is a possibility especially if the others are planning on being shortened. I definitely wouldn’t give the two identical girls matchy names and then the third something slightly different.

Matilda
Charlotte
Harriet

You should get her to join MN btw. She could join the ante-natal club for the month she's due and the multiple birth section has done experienced MNers Smile

Another vote for Matilda, Harriet and. Charlotte.

I’m not usually one for nn - but Tilly, Hattie and Lottie are very cute names in their own right!

I have a Matilda Charlotte so love that!

Also she has middle name Dorothy so is Tilly Lottie Dotty.

Love Harriet and Betsy also!

Imo naming them will be the easy bit...

Blueberryhill123 · 21/01/2019 06:42

Matilda (Tilly)
Charlotte (Lottie)
Penelope (Penny)

mathanxiety · 21/01/2019 06:33

Matilda Louise
Tess Madeline
Harriet Rose

I would only use Pippa as a NN for Philippa.

Astronica · 21/01/2019 06:30

Any 3 of Matilda/Tilly, Pippa/Pip, Harriet/Hattie and Charlotte/Lottie would work well.

If you make the others full names with nns you can add any of those in the above mix: Tamasin, Tessa or Therese nn Tess, Elizabeth nn Betsy.

I also like Violet nn Letty (just don't have this with Charlotte/Lottie or Harriet/Hattie)

I like Tess, Betsy and Violet as a group, but since Matilda is definitely 'in' I think you need to make Tess and Betsy nns for full names to be consistent.

My favourite groups are:
Matilda Violet, Pippa Madeline and Harriet Betsy.
Matilda Betsy, Violet Madeline and Tessa/Tamasin (Tess) Charlotte
Matilda Violet, Pippa Madeline and Violet Elizabeth

DarkLikeVader · 20/01/2019 23:19

Matilda, Harriet and Charlotte. Lovely strong names.

Betsy is just awful, sorry. Plus it’s a nickname where the others are proper names!

MollyHuaCha · 20/01/2019 23:05

Matilda Rose
Harriet Louise
Charlotte Elizabeth

Catsize · 20/01/2019 22:47

All the Harriets I have met (including my own daughter) are feisty. 😁
