Which name is more of a classic?

Which name do you consider more classic/traditional/timeless and least faddy.

Selina (or selena) or Lara .

Narrowed it down to these two now.

As an aside - op you are over thinking this quite a bit more than necessary. So many threads about the same names. Honestly - pick the one you like most.

Prefer Lara.

Selena is quite tied to famous women.

The suggestion of Serena is a good one though.

Selina/Selena is a very old name. I’ve seen it in 17th Century Parish Records. Lara is much more modern and came into use as a name in its own right (as opposed to a nn) after Dr Zhivago.
I prefer Selena to Lara

They are a lot of Lunnon Laras pronounced LaoRRAH.

Selena (spelled this way). Selene is great as well -Greek goddess of the moon, but I assume they're the same name.

I also don't see these as classical girls names, and would perceive Laura as more classical and nicer.

Out of context, Selina, but if you already have a Mila then I think they’re too similar. So Lara - unless you might consider Laura? Beautiful name.
