No more children for me, but i keep looking at 3 week old DD2 and thinking she looks likeva Molly. Not the name we've gone with and completely doesnt go with our surname so will be sticking with the name we have given her but just looking for thoughts on Molly

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have a Molly. I wish I'd thought more about it now, though. Although it is a nice name and really suits her.
Congratulations BTW. I remember your threads when you were pregnant

I don’t really like it, but I don’t like girly nickname type names- they can be outgrown very quickly.

I sympathise with the post-birth name confusion though- when DD was born I was convinced that she looked like an Imogen much to DH’s frustration.

My friend is from Brighton and said at school Molly was used as an insult. I can't remember what it meant but it's always put me off the name since.

I don't like it - it sounds very weak to me

I love it. It was on our shortlist for DD. Really doesn't go with our surname either though.

I love it.
