57 boys were named Jaxx in 2017. 57!

WantRapunzelLocks · 17/01/2019 23:16

@SuperNappyBaby I think he will have a lot of people telling him how awful his name is, this thread is the least of jaxxxx maxxxx worries

ferniepoos · 17/01/2019 23:10

Not the only Jaxx Maxx then! The boy I know is not in Yorkshire!

TK Maxx?

SuperNappyBaby · 17/01/2019 22:43

You shpuld ask for this thread to be deleted as he probably is the only child around with that name - and anyone who googles him will see a thread with people saying how awful his name is.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 17/01/2019 22:36

Basement Jaxx, TK Maxx

If Maxx is a middle name, presumably the child goes by Jaxx usually, so the full effect of the name is a little diminished. Maxx is a better name though, objectively - probably should be the other way round.

Thepoorchild · 17/01/2019 22:32

@ferniepoos The Jaxx I know is in Yorkshire

And yes, I also thought basement when I heard the name

GreenDinosaur · 17/01/2019 21:42

*Maxx

GreenDinosaur · 17/01/2019 21:41

I like Halifaxx for a Surname, Jaxx Max Halifaxx has a certain ring to it.

CantWaitToRetire · 17/01/2019 21:33

Is their surname Baxxter?

WobbleTime · 17/01/2019 21:15

Not really? Haha.
Jaxx-Maxx nicer with a hyphen though. Looks fancier.

I'm interested to know whether it is the same family or not. 🤔 Maybe there's more than one little boy with that name.

@iklboo love that Grin showing my age too!

iklboo · 17/01/2019 17:49

Does Jaxx live in the basement? (shows age, gets coat)

Jenniferturkington · 17/01/2019 17:45

I know a Maxx. I always pronounce both xs

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 17/01/2019 17:44

Maxx Jaxx has a better ring to it. Depends on the surname.

Thepoorchild · 17/01/2019 17:43

I'm just thankful there's only one poor boy called Jaxx Maxx out there! Grin

Yes, Jaxx with Maxx as the middle name. And yes, yes to the attention seeker!

OP posts:
Thepoorchild · 17/01/2019 13:06

The child I know is just called Jaxx - Maxx is the middle name. The mother is rather attention seeking so I suspect she wants people to comment on the wonderful unusual name she's chosen Hmm

BluthsFrozenBananas · 17/01/2019 12:44

Is it all one name or is Maxx the middle name? Jaxx, by itself, spoken rather than written with the egregious Xs, isn’t too bad. If however the poor child is to always be addressed as Jaxx Maxx I pity the poor future teachers who are going to have say that with a straight face.

ferniepoos · 17/01/2019 12:42

Shock Do you think there might be more than one Jaxx Maxx?!

OP posts:
Thepoorchild · 17/01/2019 12:38

I can't imagine there are two sets of such cruel parents, so we know the same people OP Grin
