Which do you prefer? - Our third girl shortlist.

Hi, we are currently expecting our third girl.

I just wanted peoples opinions on our shortlist: Which do you prefer?

  • Nora
-Pippa -Florence -Imogen -Pheobe -Matilda

Any other suggestions?
we already have Isla and Freya.

Florence is my favourite, it’s a gorgeous band, and you could always use the nickname Flora for a triple ‘a’-ending hatrick Wink

But as a PP says, given it starts with an F like Freya, you hey wish to avoid.

Really like Nora. Phoebe and Imogen are nice. I hate the name Pippa.

I like Phoebe and Matilda best and think they do well with your other girls.

Other ideas for Isla and Freya:

Anna, Bronte, Carys, Darcey, Eva, Georgia, Hope, Joanna, Katie, Leona, Molly, Niamh, Ottilie, Polly, Ruby, Seren, Tamsin, Verity, Willow, Zara

I love Pippa and Imogen and like them best with sisters' names. I dislike Nora. Florence and Phoebe (spell it like this) seem too like Freya. I love Matilda but somehow feels too big and strong next to the gentle sounds of Isla and Freya, though in the end it would be fine to use.

I can't bear Nora, but the rest are nice.

I think Pippa is best short for Philippa & I'd spell Phoebe correctly, but I expect that was a typo.

I don't think Phoebe if you're going to spell it weird or you'll be spelling it out for the next 18 years. Then she will.

If it's a spelling mistake, still no, if you can't spell it!

Personally, I love Imogen but not sure that it "goes" with the other two names you've already chosen. I would say Matilda goes best, if you like all the names equally. Do you have a favourite from your list? I say - choose the one you like best and don't worry about it "fitting". All your girls are going to grow up as individuals!
