Hi! I need ideas for baby girl , I'm Greek and husband is German and we live in the UK. I'm trying to find a name that will be easily pronounced in all countries plus be nice and a little unique. My list so far is:

Eva
Amelie
Alexandra
Josephine
Christina
Naomi

But I dont completely love any of these! Naomi maybe a little more than the others but it is pronounced Nah-o-mee in greece and germany and Ni-o-mee in the Uk or Nay-oh-mee by americans- so a bit confusing if I call her wrong!

Which name do you like ? And any other ideas?

@nomester how should it be pronounced? Blush

nomester · 05/01/2019 00:59

I'm Naomi, it gets mispronounced a lot!
I nearly always get called Ny-Omi but my mum drilled it in me to always correct.
Another thing to consider with the name is, it spelt backwards...
Imoan... 🙈🙈
Congratulations! Hope you find the perfect name 💜

My Greek cousin is named Aletheia and I love it. Easy to pronounce, not too complicated to spell, unique but not bizarre, nice meaning...doesn’t flow well with my last name or I’d have used it myself!

Beautiful names, Lumpy

Natasha

Anna

My son would've been Anna or Alice (or possibly a Welsh name). My daughter is Mia but this is rather popular and doesn't really fit your brief.
