I heard a toddler Santiago being called in the park today. Nickname Santi. Thought it sounded lovely!

I like it, but immediately sang the Go Diego Go theme tune in my head, not sure if that’s still on but was a large part of my child’s younger tv viewing!

I called both my children names from the same country background despite having no connection (it was quite accidental that they were both from there) and haven’t had too many comments to be honest.

It reminds me of the tiger from ice age!

I like the sound of it but having grown up in the states I would definitely assume Mexican heritage.
