Help! Alice or Holly??

Please help. Having our baby in 2 days (new years eve) and still haven't agreed on her name. Baby brain means I'm struggling making a decision!

Please vote... Alice or Holly??

We welcomed baby Alice to the world yesterday. She is truly perfect :) thank you for all your comments.

Next baby will be called Holly xx

I would go for Holly. There aren't many Hollys around now and Alices are everywhere. Alice is also a very wet fish name.

Alice has consistently been in the top 50 ish of names but never much higher so it's always about but never dated.

I agree it's getting more popular, and it's strangely popular in Germany and Sweden at the moment but I still don't think it'll date.

It's one of the few names where I genuinely know people of ages varying from 90 to newborn.

Can you tell I have an Alice 😍

I think Alice is a lovely name, but currently very popular and on an upward trend. Therefore, I actually think its "of this time," and will seem very dated in 10 or so years. (incidentally, its currently no 17 most popular girls name, compared to 56 for Holly). It wouldn't surprise me if it enters the top 10 in the next few years, its moved from 50 in 2009 to 17 in 2017, so a rapid upward movement.
