Or Tallulah? What do you think of this name? I adore it but my mum says it's a stripper name. I know two Tallulah's, one in her twenties and one in her teens. Both are lovely, sweet girls from cool arty families and I think this has made me unable to see the stripper thing? The only famoie Tallulah's I can think of are Riley and Willis and neither of them is stripper-ish either. Am I the only one who has positive connotations with this name? Works beautifully with my husband's culture as well and we were keen for a name that would work in both cultures.

Probably go for something more classic as a middle name like Violet or Beatrice. Would this work?

Thoughts, anyone?

Not a fan tbh...not very 'classy'. I know one 8 year old Tallulah, she hates it.

In my head I find myself singing "my name is Tallulah" a la Bugsy whenever I think of her.

Tallulah Bankhead is the famous one, and a helluva character.

I love Tallulah (this spelling, as it is the correct one). But I think we're going to be in the minority, OP.

Btw have you ever seen Bugsy Malone?!

ElizabethMainwaring · 24/12/2018 03:27

I just think of Jodie Foster's character in Bugsy Malone and the song she sings - 'my name is Tallulah'.

Talulah?
Sorry an absolute no from me, it’s awful

Tallulah Does the Hula...

It's not for me, and I don't think of it as a particularly classy name, but if you like it that's all that matters.
