We are really struggling to decide on snake for our baby boy due very soon!

I love Teddy but I think it's quite popular now? Also Digby, Barnaby & Huxley but DH not keen.

Can anyone help in our search please?

Pick something you love the sound of. No guarantee that an unusual name now will be unusual in a few years. Just takes a royal or celebrity to use it.

UatuTheWatcher · 20/12/2018 11:37

I have a Piper which is unusual nowadays though it’s an old family name.

MyCatIsAFiend · 20/12/2018 09:54

Fabian
Paul
Timothy
Saul

Names like Matthew and Michael are increasingly unusual these days, in my experience.

albazavi · 20/12/2018 09:43

I have a Rowan and we get lots of compliments and often get comments that it's unusual but 'nice' unusual (if that's even a thing).

@Sessy19 Ezra was 81st most popular last year so yes that one is becoming more popular.

Nathaniel has decreased in popularity overall but not significantly so.

Sessy19 · 20/12/2018 08:12

Teddy is not uncommon round here... I actually know four, ranging from 4mths to 5yo....and my cousin is Teddy (16)

Nathaniel and Ezra also regular MN nominations, are these manifesting in baby naming at all? I would have expected to see a spike in the stats...

I like Quentin and Reuben
