Kendall is worse than awful. People will judge.

MollyHuaCha · 14/12/2018 20:35

Olivia. Kendall is a surname.

Crimbobimbo · 14/12/2018 18:47

Olivia is boring, but Kendall is awful.

BabarKingoftheElephants · 14/12/2018 18:47

Olivia

Pemba · 14/12/2018 18:43

But sometimes nice names are popular because they are nice. Olivia is classic too. I wouldn't go for an unattractive name (Kendall) just to avoid a nice but popular name.

OP are there no other nice names you like that are less popular than Olivia? Or maybe the popularity doesn't bother you.

RavenWings · 14/12/2018 18:28

Prefer Kendall, Olivia is so bloody generic and boring. Kendall isn't amazing (Kardashians) but I'd rather that any day than go with an "oh...another one" sort of name.

Shadow1234 · 14/12/2018 17:59

Prefer Kendra to Kendall. Olivia is ok.

ReginaPhalange89 · 14/12/2018 17:51

Hate Kendall. Sorry ! 100% Olivia

sue51 · 14/12/2018 16:34

Olivia is lovely but there are a lot of them about. Kendall sounds like a surname.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 14/12/2018 16:31

Kendall it seems like everyone wants to call their child Olivia! At least there won’t be several in her class

Pemba · 14/12/2018 15:49

Olivia is beautiful. OK, it's been very popular for several years, but it's a lovely classic name which is sooo much nicer than Kendall. Kendall is quite unfeminine, associations are the town in Cumbria, mint cake, and that trashy American family.

fernandoanddenise · 14/12/2018 15:47

Olivia. Like 100% Olivia.

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 14/12/2018 15:47

Kendall for a girl? Um, no.
(Have never heard of the Kardashian, but that's another reason to say no, surely).

Olivia is a lovely name but there are just so many around atm.

nocoolnamesleft · 14/12/2018 15:45

I'd guess Kendall as a boy's name (okay, my first guess would be a surname, but many surnames used as first names are male). Olivia is lovely.

ZebraKid71 · 14/12/2018 15:44

I dislike how popular Olivia is but definitely prefer it as a name.

It's fine to use your middle name. My niece is a Francesca after my SILs middle name Frances. I think it's a nice link.

SnowyPaws5 · 14/12/2018 15:10

Kendall 100%. Olivia is just bland. I know countless Olivias and only one Kendall.

mumof2sarah · 14/12/2018 14:55

Olivia, I do like Kendall but I think it would be a name that dates x

Klobuchar · 14/12/2018 14:50

Olivia is classy and timeless

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 14/12/2018 14:50

Oh sorry, you didn't ask for a middle name. I think using your middle name is fine. Smile

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 14/12/2018 14:49

Olivia. Nice Shakespearian name. I think "Olivia Lucy" sounds quite nice.

My nearest big city is Manchester, so Kendals will forever be a department store to me!

GhostSauce · 14/12/2018 14:45

Olivia. Please don't name your child Kendall.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/12/2018 14:41

Olivia, Its pretty feminine elegant classic. Suits all ages, all classes. What's not to love.
Yes, they're everywhere but You know that, and Popularity can't bother you or you wouldn't have short listed it.
Kendall is nice enough, but I agree it will date.

HJWT · 14/12/2018 14:34

My DD name is my middle name and if we have a son he would have DH middle name 🤭

AlocAcoc · 14/12/2018 14:23

It’s fine that it is your middle name

AlocAcoc · 14/12/2018 14:23

100% Olivia. Kendall is awful.
