Do you like the name Digby?

We've always said we would use this name but I'd like to get others opinions as I'm doubting myself!

Gorgeous. We know a few Digby's, you g and old. All of them are fabulous and very masculine!

Nah not for me. The one in my DD's class is a PITA.

We think it's a bit of a "try hard " name to be honest.

Not a fan. Never heard of Digby the biggest dog in the world, but the name does immediately make me think of Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar

astronica I spend a lot of time reading cv's and it would definitely get an eye roll and a 'poor sod' comment in the teams I've worked in.

While it's not a name I would choose personally, I would love to meet a Digby. At least the name is more memorable than Jack A or Harry S.

No. Just no.
Most definitely a dogs name. Human names translate well for pets. It rarely ( never) works the other way round.

Can you imagine seeing the name digby on a CV?

On Made in Chelsea Olivia's mum called Digby 'Big D' and asked her daughter 'is it?' so that's a bit ew too.

In theory, I quite like it, it in practice my main association is Digby Jones, blustering business wanker and life peer. If there were other Digbys to dilute that identification, I wouldn’t mind it.

I'm not keen on this style of name. IMO it would suit a blustery, pompous man.

Puts me in mind of a terribly naice but not very bright man who lives in the family pile and is socially awkward
Not my mate Digby, a sexy as hell (we are only mates honest Grin!), New Zealander, funny, outdoorsy, sporty and hugely popular with everyone he meets because he’s just an all round lovely bloke. So I say go for it OP Wink
