I think it’s awful but I remember Nora Batty (comic character) and we had a neighbour nicknamed nosey Nora so associate it with that.

While it's a perfectly usable name, it just doesn't appeal to me for some reason. It feels dull and plain for some reason. I do prefer Norah spelling though.

Lovely, classic name which is having a bit of a moment recently. I think it sounds best with a single syllable middle name.

Love it! I had a beloved great aunt Nora when I was a child. Her mum (my great nan) was also Nora although technically they were both Leonora. If I had a DD she would have had Leonora as a middle name.

Sorry, but I think it's horrible however you spell it. To me it's ugly & frumpy. I don't get the love for it on here at all.

I've got a Nora. it's a brilliant name, it really suits her! Named after my nana. We often talk of the day she will be nana nora herself!

Furrysheep it's a legitimate spelling - both are. I think it's one of those that was originally an abbreviation so if we're going to pick holes either variation is suspect!

Love it and it travels well - there are Nora(h)s in lots of both Southern and Northern European countries. I always think it sounds very calm and dignified.
