So I love usual names am I’m trying to find an usual scandi/Viking boys name (Viking at the request of my DP).

We’ve decided on Freya for a girl. But we can’t agree on any boy names.

Can anyone help? Oh and it needs to go with a double barrel surname.

Therefore be a translation. Maybe Blaututh?

MamaDane · 28/11/2018 12:11

I'd suggest Knud/Knut over Cnut tbh GrinGrin for obvious reasons

PerfectPeony · 28/11/2018 12:10

I vote Bluetooth and Cnut for Viking twins Grin

MamaDane · 28/11/2018 12:09

Bluetooth is more the title of Harald Bluetooth Grin like Ivar The Boneless

PerfectPeony · 28/11/2018 12:08

Cnut... oh dear!

I know someone who’s initals are C Hunt and he has to be careful saying his name on the phone and stuff...

Morganj28 · 28/11/2018 12:07

@HauntedPencil I instantly read it with the two middle letters switched 😂🙈

Soren

Natsku · 28/11/2018 12:00

Well Frej (pronounced Frey) would be the boy's version of Freya

Otherwise I'd recommend Aslak - has always been top of my list though I decided in the end that my baby didn't look like an Aslak

Mumshotel · 28/11/2018 11:59

Albin is nice

kenandbarbie · 28/11/2018 11:58

Oh yeah and Gunnar

Morganj28 · 28/11/2018 11:57

@RiverTam I loved Ragnar. Problem I have is he says no but then can never give me an alternative

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar that's actually how we pronounce the name here too! At least in Denmark Thor is pronounced Tor.

KittyLikesMagic · 28/11/2018 11:49

I've always liked Leif, not sure if that's in the same vein?

Polkasq · 28/11/2018 11:46

Viktor
Casper
Albin
Ivar
Arne
Vidar
Torstein
Olaf

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 28/11/2018 11:46

You could go for Tor if Thor is too godlike.

AlliKaneErikson · 28/11/2018 11:45

Stellan

RiverTam · 28/11/2018 11:41

Ragnar, of course!
