Kirsten or Felicity?

I posted a thread earlier about Emilia and I realised a lot of people had a good point, it is far too popular when you consider all the Amelia/Emily/Millie/Amelie/Emma/Emmy girls out there. Even my dh doesn’t want to use it anymore, and Emilia was originally his suggestion.

Now we have come to two names, Felicity and Kirsten. Any obvious drawbacks to these I’m not seeing? I think for first and middle names we like Felicity Phoebe or Kirsten Aurora. Which do you think is better?

Kirsten is too dated for me so I'd go with Felicity.

Kirsten Aurora is beautiful!

RiverMeadow · 27/11/2018 21:21

Felicity is lovely.

Kirsten is Scandinavian cool, not very "pretty" though. How would you pronounce it, Keeer-sten or Kurse-ten?

UsuallyJustLurk · 27/11/2018 21:14

I have an 18 month old Felicity, we loved the name and thought it classic but pretty. Good luck with deciding Smile

Felicity. I agree with PP that it's a lot of 'F' sounds when teamed up with Phoebe. But if that doesn't bother you then go for it.

bearfood · 27/11/2018 21:11

I'm biased as my DD is Felicity but I often have compliments about her name. Not ever trendy so never dated imo

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/11/2018 21:08

Felicity. Kirsten is really dated and not very pretty.

DramaAlpaca · 27/11/2018 21:07

I like Felicity but not with Phoebe. Too many 'f' sounds going on there.

Kirsten is nice too, and unusual these days.

Kirsten seems a little dated but is nice. Felicity is a bit too long.
