I know it doesn't really have anything to do with me but...
My sister is due a baby girl soon and her and her partner are calling the baby Leigh. I just think, personally, it's a dreadful name for a baby but obviously can't tell her that.
Am I being unreasonable or is it actually awful?

I'm confused how you would pronounce that, is it pronounced Lee or Lee-ah?

Its not for you to be sure or unsure about, though is it.

I know a Leigh in her late teens. There's plenty of worse names out there!

daydreamb · 26/11/2018 19:43

Oh I'm not going to as you say it's absolutely nothing to do with me and I would absolutely hate to upset my sister. I just can't get my head around it.

It’s not my taste, but it’s a perfectly normal name. It’s also none of your business! They can name their baby whatever they want.

If you want to keep a good relationship with them, never say anything.
