Just looking for opinions on the name Jenson?
Older brother called Noah.
Narrowed the choice down to Jenson or Rupert now.
Girls name is set at Matilda Rose! Found girls names so much easier.

Ackles, Button are my first connections.

I quite like it, I’m not averse to surname-first names, it’s very common in Scotland.

Noah and Jenson. I like it.

I don't really like either of those names sorry. Rupert is a bit wet sounding and Jenson, as others have said, reminds me of those Harrison type names.

Don’t like jenson at all. Think straight away of formula one, probably because I can’t think of any others.

Quite like Rupert, and definitely prefer to jenson. Have a friend called Rupert who is nicknamed Ru, which suits him.

To be brutally honest, neither choice is great. Jenson is a surname (equivalent of 'Johnson' in Scandinavian countries I think?), also Jenson Button. Rupert is wussy, or a cartoon bear.

Suggest you choose something more classic or biblical, to match your older son.

Moominfan Your comment...... Just amazing. I have a job where I associate people I've met with names and thus dont want to use those names. And just because I have one child with a top 10 names doesn't mean I would have another one. Its about liking a name not its popularity.

It's nicer spelled Jensen, I think. Its not uncommon here, either.

Yes, let's name all boys the same top 10 names! They'll be known as Oliver 1, Oliver 2, Oliver 3 etc

It's also a very different type of name to Rupert. I don't like either much, to be honest. I knew an Oxford Rupert who had a half-blue in croquet and was known as 'Rupes' and the name has never quite recovered for me. Rupert the Bear. Prince Rupert of the Rhine.

Sounds like a surname. It's in the same bracket for me as Harrison, Mason, Taylor, Jayden.
