I love the names
Tabitha
Isadora
Genevieve
Maisie

Mentioned these to my friend and she said I'm cruel lol do you think a girl with these names would be bullied? What kind of girl springs to mind with these names?

I wouldn't use Tabitha because it's a cat's name to me, and I wouldn't use Maisie because it's cutesy & twee, but the other two are fine.

formerbabe · 22/11/2018 21:54

The only one I dislike is Isadora. The rest are fine.

Haworthia · 22/11/2018 21:52

They’re all perfectly lovely names. Isadora is a bit too frilly for my taste, I suppose.

Maisie was my grandmother’s name so it doesn’t sound twee to me. She was a tough Cockney woman Grin

I like Genevieve best - Gen. I agree the French pronunciation is nicest but no-one will use that.

SingingSands · 22/11/2018 21:49

I know girls/women with all those names. I like them all.
Also know a dog called Maisie. She’s lovely Grin

HollowTalk · 22/11/2018 21:48

I think Tabitha is the only one I wouldn't use there - bit like a tabby cat.

SemperIdem · 22/11/2018 21:48

Tabitha is the nicest name from your list, I think. The most wearable from baby to adult.

Isadora is a little...much. But has both Izzie and Dora as nickname options.

Genevieve is nice but the French pronunciation is much nicer.

Maisie is really twee and is the odd one out for that reason. I like it the least of the four names.

None of them make me think “fucking hell that’s bad”.
