From your list I like Ruby Rae.
I love Rosa Rae

HotMessMama · 22/11/2018 18:04

I love Rae for a first name, that was on my list if I had a girl, I had a boy.

Ruby Rae is my favourite from your short list Smile xx

MingoMingo · 22/11/2018 16:44

We had Rae on our middle name list to go with Delilah

Chocolatecake12 · 22/11/2018 16:06

I’ve just found out that my aunt aged 68 has the middle name Raie. She’s such a trend setter!
I love Amber but might be too similar to Amelia.
Ruby Rae dies actually sound quite nice!
Other suggestions
Willow
Poppy
Jemima
Nancy
Olivia
Beatrice

(We just like Rae...I liked Bailey initially for a girl, then we talked about the singer with Bailey Rae surname, then Rae stuck....)

My (boy) Rae is short for Gabriel. Could work for Gabriella/Gabrielle?

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 22/11/2018 14:20

Ruby Rae ❤️

stickygotstuck · 22/11/2018 14:08

I like Amber best.

Out of interest, is Rae short for something?

Perfectpeony · 22/11/2018 13:55

If you use Ruby she will be R Kelly... don’t know if anyone born past 1993 will pick up on that though...

I’ve always loved the name Chloe. Smile

Tightlippedmama · 22/11/2018 13:49

As a PP has flagged up. The name combo that’s most significant is the First name and the Surname.

Chloë Kelly is quite a mouthful. Ruby Kelly isn’t the easiest either.
Harley Kelly doesn’t really work well.

Scarlett Kelly looks matchy and the double T at the end of Scarlett makes it easier to ‘manage’ the Kelly.

Amber Kelly has a good rhythm to it.

I’m not helping am I?

Disfordarkchocolate · 22/11/2018 12:54

Chloe Rae is my favourite but I can see I'm in the minority here.

PeevedOfPortishead · 22/11/2018 12:51

Can't believe nobody's suggested Epponnee yet! Grin

rach2713 · 22/11/2018 12:50

I like Scarlett rae but also Erin rae.

I'm pregnant with a little girl and we have picked Erin mae for are little one as we have 2 other girls with A first names and middle names are rose and Leigh. I loved Scarlett but husband not so much..

Out of interest @edwinchester, what names do you like for a girl??

Tadda · 21/11/2018 21:51

@edwinchester lol! Subtle.... :)

EdWinchester · 21/11/2018 21:19

Rae is just atrocious.

Tadda · 21/11/2018 21:17

Scarlett Rae is my favourite. I imagine a clever but mischevious wee girl with lots of curls for some reason

manicinsomniac · 21/11/2018 18:18

I like Amber the best but I don't know if it's a bit similar to Amelia?

I don't think it's an issue that Rae is popular. It works with most names because it's 1 syllable. Same reason that May, Grace and Rose were so popular and Jane , Anne and Kate before that. People go with what flows well.

Belindabauer · 21/11/2018 16:58

Scarlett Rae.
