Niomi for a girl?

Naomi is a lovely name ('gnomie' as diminutive), but make sure you spell it properly.

I would change it...I've had a lifetime of correcting people how to spell my name and its a job in itself and can get frustrating on some days

..you won't personally suffer the consequences, so why deliberately put that burden on your child ?

@mrsflowerpot2 I don't always feel like this though. Mostly I love it but sometimes I get really worried what people will think about it

You can change it very easily before the age of 1 if you regret the spelling x

Sad this is what I'm worried about. I have a 9 month old called Niomi and I've been worrying about her name. I liked the spelling as it was less common and I think it looks nicer written down (also have seen a few people called Niomi spelt that way). Got a bit of name regret and suffering from PND and I'm getting really upset that I've cursed her to a life of misspellings/corrections

Isn’t it Naomi?

I would think that you’d misspelt Naomi, but that it’s a nice name and not too popular.
