Darcey/Darcie

First name is set and will not change. The name is: Matilda.
Was going to use Rose as a middle name but very overused and some negative associations.
Have always loved the name Darcey/Darcie but unsure how to spell.

So which spelling would you choose and why?

Of the two, Darcey. But as pp said, Darcy is better.

Darcie or preferably Darcy. Darcey looks clunky and misspelt. Darcie does look rather cutesy but not awful. Darcy is the most used & nicest spelling.

Prefer Rose as the middle name. Think Darcey quite strong and doesn't flow as well as Rose IMO.

I would also go Darcy but much prefer Matilda Rose, flows really nicely and is a beautiful name.

I would have gone Darcy.

But on reflection I think that's because I'm most familiar with the name from Mr Darcy in P&P, so maybe spelling it that way is masculine?
