Elizabeth - middle name help!

Hello,

I'm really liking the name Elizabeth for our first child and I can't get it out of my head. It could be used as a middle name potentially but I can't think of an alternative first name that I like as much.

If we were to go with Elizabeth as a first name I would like to add a middle name,so far we have come up with Violet and Victoria.

Any suggestions? Thoughts on Elizabeth and a suitable classic middle name?

Elizabeth is beautiful and timeless. Lots of nickname options too.

My preferences for middle names are:

avoid a name that you might want to use for a subsequent child if you had one
if the child has a surname from just one side of the family (often father’s) then use a middle name from the other side of the family (often mother’s)

Also with Elizabeth I would personally keep the middle name short, just one or two syllables.

I love Elizabeth- we called our daughter Elizabeth Rachel!
I think most classic names go with Elizabeth and you have so much choice for nicknames
