Thoughts on Eleanora

I've just come across the name Eleanora and I love it. Dh is not so convinced, he thinks its an 'old woman name'. It incorporates my beloved Grandma's name (Nora), and I think there's great nickname potential too.

What does everyone think? Dd is due in a few weeks and we are really struggling!

Bit on the frilly/silly side, what about Eleanor? You can call her Eleanora in a playful way but she'll have an elegant, grownup name.

Beautiful, I’ve heard it recently on the haunting of hill house series she was called nell or Nellie for short her sister was Theodora - Theo, both struck me as gorgeous girls names
