We have a Quentin and are definitely not posh. He's a big, sporty 13 year old and seems to 'pull his name' off very well!

Well, the 8 year old Quentin we know is neither. He's a lovely cheeky boy at our local primary school.

Also, Quentin Tarantino or Quentin Blake aren't exactly 'wussy' Grin

I like Quentin. It maybe does have a bit of a posh vibe, but I actually don't mind that here. Isaac is nice, but it seems a bit dated to me - I only know ones in their very late teens and early 20s.

I know quite a few Quentins and they're all lovely and 'normal'. A name does not make you chav or posh!

Also, perceptions on names change and names like Sebastian, Quentin, Henry would all have been considered 'upper class' some years ago, but as they become more widely used, they lose this (outdated) association.

I think Quentin is very cool!

I think it depends how posh you are... Isaac is a regular sort of name but to me Quentin is super posh. I wouldn’t saddle a child with Quentin unless they are going to have the lifestyle to go with it.....

Another vote for Quentin! Very cool and Q is a great initial.

Isaac seems to be tricky to spell for many - I've seen it spelled Izaac, Issac, Isac.

I like them both but I think Quentin. Isaac is already popular and on the rise (there have been about half a dozen threads on it in the last couple of weeks) and people will misspell it constantly.

I like both. Isaac more so. For me Quentin is extremely class indicative. That may have changed recently.
