Not keen.

MikeUniformMike · 03/11/2018 14:19

Havana laugh?

RiverTam · 03/11/2018 14:15

Cigars here too. I think if it was just a city you could get away with it but with the cigar connection I wouldn’t.

I’ve heard worse.

Loopytiles · 03/11/2018 14:13

Dire.

GraveyardScapers · 03/11/2018 14:12

Cigars and alfajores (though I think these are spelled with a double n). No for a child’s name, yes for the alfajores Grin

GlasgowWorrier · 03/11/2018 14:09

Havana cup of tea? Thanks, don’t mind if I do.

Starlight345 · 03/11/2018 14:07

I sang it with an op na bar on the end

I prefer savannah though

cushioncovers · 03/11/2018 14:07

Cigars?

Topseyt · 03/11/2018 14:05

No. Don't name your child after a brand of cigars.

FesteringCarbuncle · 03/11/2018 14:04

Cigar

RestingBitchFaced · 03/11/2018 14:03

Hate it

slappinthebass · 03/11/2018 13:59

My daughters school friend has this name. I sing the song for days after every time she comes round.

starsinyourpies · 03/11/2018 13:10

Are you Havana laugh?

GoodJanet · 03/11/2018 11:12

She’ll just get the Camilla Cabello song her entire life.

I really wouldn’t. What about Savannah? It’s actually a name.

Rarfy · 03/11/2018 10:32

I quite like it.

TheDinnerWitch · 03/11/2018 10:25

I quite like it! (and Friar and Prior too... )

userabcname · 03/11/2018 10:22

Yes I immediately thought of the song! But that's only because it's been in the charts recently. I do quite like it as name.

Cosmoa · 03/11/2018 09:50

@olderthanyouthink lol that song came to mind for me also!

I do think it's a great name though. I'd be pleasantly surprised to meet someone with the name!

Sophronia · 03/11/2018 09:27

Cigars

Maccycheesefries · 03/11/2018 08:52

@EthelHallowsBroomstick I was thinking of Friar Tuck! Well atleast she didn't call him monk or vicar which are similar to Friar.

EthelHallowsBroomstick · 03/11/2018 08:38

Maccycheesefries

Friar is an odd one! Maybe he'll grow up to work in a chippy ;)

EthelHallowsBroomstick · 03/11/2018 08:38

Cigars and the place spring to mind. It's not awful but it's not my cup of tea.

HeronLanyon · 03/11/2018 08:36

Or perhaps ‘no cigars’Grin

Polkasq · 03/11/2018 08:31

Cigars

Maccycheesefries · 03/11/2018 07:31

Do you have any connection to Cuba?

I heard a woman call out Friar the other day, I thought she said Prior but she repeated Friar again & a little boy answered 'yes mum.' I've never heard a child being called a title of a religious order before. It's common to call a child after a religious person like Sebastian after St. Sebastian but not a title. The word friar is a job description really isn't it?
